Massive Attack have issued a press release in help of Kneecap, arguing the uproar over the group’s criticism of Israel and support of Palestine at Coachella is a distraction from the continuing conflict in Gaza and what additionally they described as a genocide of Palestinians.
The trip-hop greats, as they famous of their assertion, have long spoken out against what they known as Israel’s “unlawful occupation, apartheid system, and killing with impunity of 1000’s of Palestinians.” The group added that, as such, they’re “hyper conscious of each the human price of abject political silence, and the business implications of publicly expressing solidarity with an oppressed individuals.”
