Tradition editor Eve Jackson brings us the newest from Day 4 of the Cannes Movie Pageant, the place U2 frontman Bono is premiering Tales of Give up. The documentary, directed by Andrew Dominik, relies on Bono’s emotional one-man stage present – mixing his greatest hits with private reflections on grief, fame, and activism. Talking at Cannes, the rock legend warned that “the world has by no means been nearer to a world struggle” in his lifetime.
