One of many world’s main researchers on the state of our oceans has spoken to FRANCE 24 because the UN Ocean Convention received underway within the French Riviera metropolis of Good. The occasion is concentrated on “accelerating motion and mobilising all actors to preserve and sustainably use the ocean”. We spoke to Chris Bowler, the scientific coordinator of the Tara Ocean Programme – first about that programme after which about his response to French President Emmanuel Macron’s opening speech on the convention in Good.
