MARINES TO BEGIN OPERATIONS IN LOS ANGELES FRIDAY, AHEAD OF NATIONWIDE ANTI-TRUMP PROTESTS

Organized by No Kings, protesters will collect for a "nationwide day of defiance" in hundreds of cities throughout the U.S.

"From metropolis blocks to small cities, from courthouse steps to group parks, we’re taking motion to reject authoritarianism — and present the world what democracy actually appears like," the group wrote on its web site. "The flag doesn’t belong to President Trump. It belongs to us. We’re not watching historical past occur. We’re making it."
