Dozens of Israeli settlers have attacked a Palestinian West Bank city, sparking a confrontation that ended with Israeli forces killing three Palestinians.
In a separate incident, a 15-year-old boy was killed by the Israeli military within the northern West Bank city of Al-Yamoun, amid a surge of violence and near-daily confrontations between settlers and Palestinians.
Three Palestinians had been killed and 7 wounded within the violence in Kafr Malik on Wednesday, north-east of Ramallah, the Palestinian well being ministry mentioned.
An Israeli navy assertion mentioned dozens of Israelis set fireplace to property, and navy and police forces had been dispatched to the scene after receiving a report of ensuing violence that included an alternate of stone-throwing.
The navy assertion alleged that a number of Palestinians opened fireplace and hurled rocks on the forces, who returned the hearth. 5 Israeli suspects had been arrested. An Israeli military officer was calmly wounded.
Video footage confirmed a minimum of two automobiles had been set ablaze. Reuters couldn’t independently confirm the video.
