Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) praised President Donald Trump and the U.S. navy Thursday throughout a press convention following a labeled briefing on Iran, declaring the joint U.S. Israeli mission a historic blow to Tehran’s nuclear ambitions whereas slamming media and Democrat efforts to downplay the operation’s success.
“I wish to commend President Trump and his nationwide safety staff and our courageous and expert pilots and their crews for a brilliantly executed mission,” Cotton stated. “We’ve got struck a significant blow alongside our buddies in Israel towards Iran’s nuclear program, one that’s going to make America safer, our buddies within the area safer, and shield the world from the chance of an Iranian nuclear weapon for years.”
