At a time when many consider that oversight of the Synthetic Intelligence trade is desperately wanted, the US authorities seems to have completely different concepts. The “One Large Lovely Invoice Act” (OBBBA)—lately given the nod by the Home of Representatives—features a 10-year moratorium on state and native governments enacting or implementing laws on AI fashions, programs, or automated decision-making instruments.
