After greater than a decade as a dressmaker, Dana Cohen was disillusioned. Extreme waste was rampant in each a part of the trade – from surplus samples, to manufacturing scraps, to retail shops with “a raveled mountain of clothes that no one wished”, she mentioned. “I used to be like, ‘I simply don’t need to be part of it any extra.’”
