Ukraine mourns tortured journalist Viktoria Roschchyna

At the moment in Kyiv, the funeral of Viktoria Roshchyna, a Ukrainian journalist tortured and killed in a Russian jail, takes place. Her case, together with these of different civilian prisoners, was the topic of an investigation known as the Viktoria Challenge, performed by Forbidden Tales in partnership with France 24. This occasion coincides with the opening of an official Ukrainian investigation into the Taganrog jail director’s function in her abuse, marking a vital step in the direction of justice for victims of wartime atrocities.
