Nigerian forces killed greater than 100 members of a felony gang in an air and floor raid on Sunday in Zamfara state, a battle monitoring report produced for the United Nations stated Monday. The raid follows rising violence, together with a lethal assault by the gang on Adabka village final week. The continuing battle, fuelled by organised crime and useful resource disputes, is worsening regional instability and malnutrition.
