KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy mentioned Tuesday that Russian President Vladimir Putin desires Ukraine to withdraw from the remaining 30% of the Donetsk area that it controls as a part of a ceasefire deal, a proposal the chief categorically rejected.
Zelenskyy reiterated that Ukraine wouldn’t withdraw from territories it controls, saying that may be unconstitutional and would serve solely as a springboard for a future Russian invasion.
