European allies of Ukraine held a joint name to debate the circumstances of an eventual ceasefire in Ukraine forward of US President Donald Trump’s upcoming assembly with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Ukrainian chief Volodymyr Zelensky informed Trump he wouldn’t settle for territory “swaps” with Russia, which Trump recommended could be obligatory to attain a truce, and insisted Putin was “bluffing” to place strain on Kyiv and its allies, whereas Zelensky’s European allies asserted that Ukraine should be concerned in any ceasefire negotiations.
