CASTEL GANDOLFO, Italy (AP) — Pope Leo XIV spent the final Sunday of his summer time trip with a number of dozen refugees, homeless and poor folks and the church volunteers who assist them, celebrating a particular Mass for them and welcoming them into the Vatican’s lakeside property for a lunch of lasagna and roast veal.
