San Francisco 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan stated receiver Demarcus Robinson is going through a three-game suspension to begin the season for violating the league’s substance abuse coverage.
Shanahan stated Wednesday on the staff’s flagship radio station KNBR that Robinson has been suspended pending an attraction after he pleaded no contest final month to a misdemeanor DUI cost. San Francisco opens the season with video games at Seattle and New Orleans, adopted by a house recreation towards Arizona.
The NFL declined to touch upon the suspension.
Robinson stated final week that he was “anxious” ready to listen to the ultimate verdict from the NFL.
