Two assaults by dissident guerrilla teams killed 18 individuals and injured dozens in Colombia on Thursday. A truck bomb struck Cali, killing six and wounding greater than 60, whereas a drone introduced down a police helicopter at a coca farm within the north. The violence deepens Colombia’s worst safety disaster in a long time and threatens fragile peace efforts forward of subsequent 12 months’s elections.
