For the primary time since its founding in 1948, North Korea has brazenly acknowledged the deaths of its troopers combating on international soil with a fastidiously staged ceremony that analysts say betrays supreme chief Kim Jong-un’s deepening home anxieties.
Kim embraced weeping kids, affixed medals to portraits of the lifeless and even appeared to wipe away tears as he honoured greater than 100 North Korean troops killed in Russia’s struggle on the occasion on Friday.
Although 101 portraits had been seen within the footage, state media didn’t verify what number of troopers had been killed.
