UK financial institution shares fall as Metropolis fears price range tax raid
Shares in UK banks are falling this morning because the sector fears it might be focused within the autumn price range.
NatWest (-3.7%), Lloyds Banking Group (-2.8%) and Barclays (-2.3%) are main the fallers on the FTSE 100 share index, reflecting rising issues that chancellor Rachel Reeves may goal banks to assist shore up the UK’s public funds.
