The world’s main genocide students’ affiliation has backed a decision stating that Israel’s actions in Gaza meet the authorized definition of the crime.
Out of the Worldwide Affiliation of Genocide Students’s (IAGS) 500 members, 28% took half within the vote. Of those that voted, 86% supported the decision. The decision states that “Israel’s insurance policies and actions in Gaza meet the authorized definition of genocide in article II of the United Nations conference for the prevention and punishment of the crime of genocide (1948).”
