In an unique interview with FRANCE 24 in Beirut, Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam condemned Tuesday’s Israeli strikes on Qatar, saying “the true scandal is that the world is powerless”. He additionally confirmed that the Lebanese military has three months to make sure “the state’s unique management of weapons south of the Litani River” as a part of Hezbollah’s disarmament. Lastly, he mentioned that Lebanon was “heading in the right direction” in the direction of opening a “new chapter” with Syria.
