This week marks the third anniversary of the demise of Mahsa Amini which sparked the youth-led Lady, Life, Freedom motion in Iran. Within the face of injustice, Iranians throughout generations, particularly girls and minorities, rose up in a peaceable quest for human dignity and rights. The regime responded with an unprecedented violent crackdown. In keeping with many observers, together with the UN, what adopted amounted to crimes in opposition to humanity.
