In a wide-ranging speech on the United Nations that lasted just below one hour, US President Donald Trump described local weather change because the “best con job ever”, reiterated that recognising a Palestinian state would reward Hamas, singled out Europe over migration insurance policies and criticised its failure to “lower off” Russian power merchandise. He started his speech by complaining that his teleprompter wasn’t working and that an escalator within the constructing malfunctioned whereas he and first woman Melania Trump had been on it.
