Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his prime army commander have stated Russian offensives failed to satisfy their objectives and Moscow was struggling heavy losses on the battlefield. Zelenskyy stated in his nightly video tackle on Friday that Ukrainian forces had inflicted heavy casualties on Russian troops in a counteroffensive close to Dobropillia within the japanese Donetsk area. Army commander-in-chief Oleksandr Syrskyi advised reporters that “the Russians’ spring and summer time marketing campaign has successfully been disrupted”. Zelenskyy disputed Russian president Vladimir Putin’s account that his forces had been attaining their battlefield objectives. “For a while they’ve been compelled, yr after yr, to invent new explanation why the deadlines they introduced maintain getting pushed again,” he stated.
