The Trump administration has put up banners throughout federal web sites blaming Democrats for the federal government shutdown, and in some circumstances, blatantly campaigning for President Donald Trump. One banner on the US Division of Agriculture’s website says, “The Radical Left Democrats shut down the federal government,” including that “President Trump has made it clear he needs to maintain the federal government open and assist those that feed, gasoline, and dress the American individuals.”
