The ‘Maison Des Mondes Africains’, actually the ‘Home of African Worlds’, has simply opened in Paris. It describes itself as a brand new area for inventive expression and alternate between Africa and its diasporas. Its inaugural exhibition, ‘Noire’, is signed by French-Cameroonian artist Roxane Mbanga, whose work delves into the themes of black id, resilience, and illustration.
