On Tuesday, the Meals and Drug Administration (FDA) introduced a recall for taco kits with a shocking, and probably harmful, labeling mix-up: The taco seasoning packets truly include cocoa combine.
After receiving a number of buyer complaints, Teasdale Meals, Inc. recalled the merchandise—offered at Aldi, Martin’s, and Big shops throughout the nation—because the cocoa combine accommodates a milk allergen that is not declared on the taco equipment packaging.
Whereas the seasoning mistake could also be disagreeable for everybody, the recalled merchandise pose the chance of a critical or life-threatening allergic response to individuals with a milk allergy or sensitivity. To date, no diseases have been reported.
The recalled kits offered at Aldi, packaged in a blue and yellow field, could be recognized with the next:
Product identify: Casa Mamita Tender Taco Dinner KitUPC: 4099100318715Lot code: 25259Best-if-used-by date: March 15, 2026
