LIMA, Nov 3 (Reuters) – Peru has determined to interrupt off diplomatic relations with Mexico, the Andean nation’s international minister mentioned on Monday, after Peru’s former prime minister holed up within the Mexican embassy within the nation to request asylum.
International Minister Hugo de Zela instructed journalists that Peruvian officers discovered earlier within the day that former Prime Minister Betssy Chavez, who served underneath President Pedro Castillo, had fled to the embassy.
