TOKYO, Dec 7 (Reuters) – Chinese language fighter jets directed fire-control radar at Japanese navy plane close to Japan’s Okinawa islands in two incidents, Japan’s defence minister stated on Sunday, condemning the transfer as “harmful”.
“These radar illuminations went past what is critical for the secure flight of plane,” Shinjiro Koizumi posted on X, including that Japan had lodged a protest with China over Saturday’s “regrettable” incident.
