Clyburn agrees with Michelle Obama that America just isn’t prepared for girl president

Rep. James Clyburn, D-S.C., stated on Sunday that former first woman Michelle Obama was "completely appropriate" in claiming that America was not prepared for a girl president.

"For those who take a look at the historical past, we demonstrated that we weren't prepared," Clyburn stated on NBC's "Meet the Press." "These are unimaginable girls who've run: Hillary Clinton, Kamala Harris, and I feel that we're getting there. That’s why we will’t afford to show the clock again.
