Shareholder rebellions over govt pay aren’t what they was once. Up to now 18 months, bumper incentive preparations for the bosses have been authorised at AstraZeneca, the London Inventory Change Group and Smith & Nephew. All these corporations have managed to argue efficiently that, because the bulk of their revenues are made on the opposite facet of the Atlantic, the executives needs to be paid like Individuals.
