A drone strike has hit a United Nations peacekeeping logistics base in war-torn Sudan, killing six peacekeepers, the UN secretary basic António Guterres has stated.
Eight different peacekeepers had been wounded within the strike on Saturday within the metropolis of Kadugli within the central area of Kordofan. All of the victims are Bangladeshi nationals, serving within the UN interim safety power for Abyei (Unisfa).
