Someday within the second week of December, an inconceivable video started making the rounds on French-language social media. France, it claimed, was topic to a coup d’état, and President Emmanuel Macron had probably been deposed. The video, an AI-generated pretend, racked up thousands and thousands of views and brought about alarm with not less than one African chief.
