Spare a thought for the poor French restaurateur. As soon as the enduring picture of a sybaritic nation that liked nothing greater than a boozy meal out with associates or colleagues, the French restaurant is in deep disaster. Conventional eating places are closing quicker than you may shout “garçon!”, as consuming habits change and the price of dwelling pinches.
