A celebration of life was held on Saturday for legendary Oakland Coach John Beam on the Henry J. Kaiser Heart for the Arts.
Beam died Friday, Nov. 14, after being shot the day earlier than on campus at Laney School, the place he spent the final 20 years of his profession.
