A soccer fan took his personal life after his love of the game fuelled a playing dependancy that led him to wager with unlawful offshore operators that “prey on” susceptible individuals, a coroner has heard.
Ollie Lengthy, from Wendover in Buckinghamshire, died in February 2024, aged 36, after struggling along with his dependancy for eight years.
