A South Korean courtroom has sentenced former president Yoon Suk Yeol to 5 years in jail for mobilising presidential safety forces to dam his personal arrest and abusing his powers. It’s the first judicial ruling linked to the occasions surrounding his failed martial law declaration in December 2024.
