Main US Home Democrat gives decision to dam Trump’s tariffs
US Home Consultant Gregory Meeks of New York mentioned he’ll provide a decision to “terminate” Trump’s “unlawful and absurd tariffs instantly.”
“I am right here in Copenhagen and in each dialog I’ve had, officers have made clear: Greenland isn’t on the market,” Meeks, the highest Democrat on the US Home Committee on Overseas Affairs, mentioned in an announcement posted on X.
“Trump is manufacturing a overseas disaster and sabotaging our closest alliance — all whereas ignoring the actual disaster the American folks really care about: affordablity,” the assertion added, referring to cost-of-living struggles Individuals face.
It is unclear if such a decision would go if delivered to the ground of the Republican-majority US Home of Representatives.
