Cruz told EWTN News that "Our statue of the Virgin Mary was smashed, and the tabernacle was eliminated and thrown to the ground in an obvious try and power it open. The atrium lovingly ready by the Carmelite Sisters for our students was utterly destroyed."

Of their letter, Irving and Cruz introduced that security would be heightened following the assault.

"Out of an abundance of warning, now we have requested elevated safety patrols, particularly after faculty hours and weekends," they wrote. "The corridor was the one constructing affected. Courses will proceed as scheduled. We hope to renew Mass within the corridor as quickly as we're in a position."
