Minnesota GOP Gubernatorial Candidate Drops Out After Daughter Fatally Stabbed

Minnesota Republican gubernatorial candidate Jeff Johnson has dropped out of the race following the deadly stabbing of his 22-year-old daughter, Hallie Marie Tobler.

Tobler was found in her locked condominium on Saturday by St. Cloud Law enforcement officials who have been responding to a medical emergency on the residence, Simply the Information reported.

Police stated her husband, 23-year-old Dylan Michale Tobler, was discovered alive on the condominium with what gave the impression to be self-inflicted stab wounds, in line with the report. Police are treating him because the suspect in his spouse’s murder. He’s in police custody and in secure situation at St. Cloud Hospital and shall be transported to jail upon restoration. 

The Minnesota Republican Social gathering launched a press release on Monday providing condolences to Johnson’s household.
