Apple and Google have agreed to make 4 modifications to their respective app shops to make the marketplaces fairer and extra clear to third-party builders. The announcement was made by the UK’s Competitors and Markets Authority (CMA) on Tuesday after it raised questions concerning the firm’s duopoly within the cellular software sector. Among the many modifications are provisions to make app critiques extra clear, making app rankings on App Retailer and Play Retailer extra goal and non-discriminatory, safeguards for collected information, and interoperability options.
