The front-page headline in a current Washington Submit was breathless: “These firms say AI is essential to their four-day workweeks.” The subhead was euphoric: “Some firms are giving staff again extra time as synthetic intelligence takes over extra duties.”
Because the Submit defined: “extra firms might transfer towards a shortened workweek, a number of executives and researchers predict, as staff, particularly these in youthful generations, proceed to push for higher work-life steadiness.”
