A girl who was almost killed by her abusive husband has been invited to advise the federal government on measures to help victims of monetary abuse after the Guardian highlighted her story final weekend.
Francesca Onody was left homeless and penniless when her husband doused their cottage with petrol whereas she and her two kids had been inside. Her husband, Malcolm Baker, died when the property exploded.
