A producer for MS NOW is beneath hearth from critics accusing him of elitism over an X publish about newly-minted Division of Homeland Safety (DHS) nominee Sen. Markwayne Mullin, R-Okla.

Kyle Griffin, the chief producer of "The Weeknight" and a prolific liberal social media poster, put a highlight on Mullin's training stage after President Donald Trump tapped him to replace ousted DHS Secretary Kristi Noem .

"Markwayne Mullin appears to be the one at the moment serving senator with out not less than a bachelor's diploma," wrote Griffin, who has 1.2 million followers on X.

Mullin, who took over his household's plumbing enterprise at age 20 after his father grew to become in poor health, earned an affiliate's diploma from Oklahoma State College Institute of Expertise in 2010.

The publish went viral, and critics rapidly reacted, accusing him of passing elitist judgment on the Trump nominee.

"[Alejandro] Mayorkas had a BA from Berkley and a JD from Loyola Marymount and the distinction between him and Markwayne Mullin is certainly one of them will not enable 20 million unlawful aliens to cross the border," conservative commentator CJ Pearson stated, referencing the Biden-era DHS secretary.

"Who cares?" requested Rep. Eli Crane, R-Ariz.
