My total army profession occurred throughout the international warfare on terrorism, extra generally referred to among the many military-minded as GWOT. Like many amongst my era who donned the uniform in that period, it was the army’s want of folks that led to my 20-year profession within the U.S. Military. Some joined out of patriotism within the days and weeks after 9/11.
