The U.S. Military has recognized the seventh American service member who has died since the USA and Israel launched navy operations in opposition to Iran as Maj. Sorffly Davius, 46, a Nationwide Guard soldier from Cambria Heights, Queens, New York.
Davius died March 6 at Camp Buehring, Kuwait, on account of a non-combat associated incident, the Division of Protection introduced. He was assigned to the Headquarters, Headquarters Battalion, forty second Infantry Division, primarily based in Troy, New York, and was supporting Operation Spartan Defend on the time of his dying. The incident stays beneath investigation.
