Some oil-loading operations have been suspended within the United Arab Emirates’ Fujairah emirate, a serious bunkering hub and crude export terminal, after a drone assault and fireplace on Saturday, business and commerce sources stated. The suspension comes hours after the US attacked navy targets on Iran’s Kharg Island oil export terminal and Iran’s Revolutionary Guards responded by saying that US pursuits within the UAE – together with ports, docks and navy areas – had been official targets.
