Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala., on Tuesday sought to defend his social media put up evaluating New York Metropolis Mayor Zohran Mamdani's rhetoric to the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist assaults.

"We don’t want a division on this nation. We want everyone to go along with the Structure, perceive we've got ethical values. And if all of us follow these –– I don’t care in the event you’re Muslim or Catholic or Baptist, it makes no distinction," he continued.

He added, "We have to make the nation higher; we don’t have to divide it. That’s what he’s doing in New York."
