Joe Kent, the director of the Nationwide Counterterrorism Heart, introduced his resignation on Tuesday, citing his considerations in regards to the justification for army strikes in Iran and saying he “can not in good conscience” again the Trump administration’s conflict. Kent, a former Inexperienced Beret and political candidate with connections to right-wing extremists, was answerable for an company tasked with analyzing and detecting terrorist threats.
