Michael Conlan has confirmed it is the “finish of the highway” following his break up resolution defeat by Kevin Walsh at Belfast’s SSE Area.
The previous world newbie champion had hoped a victory would arrange a 3rd shot at prime honours as an expert, however in a slightly drab affair, Walsh was awarded two 96-94 verdicts with Conlan taking the third card 97-93.
