Pope Leo has stated God ignores the prayers of leaders who wage conflict and have “arms filled with blood”, in an obvious rebuke to the Trump administration.
The pontiff made the feedback on Sunday as 1000’s of US troops arrived within the Center East and days after the US defence secretary, Pete Hegseth, prayed for violence against enemies who deserved “no mercy”.
