Iran portraying ceasefire as ‘victory in opposition to the US and Israel’

Reporting from Tehran FRANCE 24’s Reza Sayah says Iranian state media is portraying the ceasefire settlement as a “victory in opposition to the US and Israel”. Regardless of the heavy losses inflicted by large strikes, the assassination of prime leaders, civilian deaths, destruction of infrastructure, “the Islamic Republic remains to be standing,” says Sayah. “For Iran, survival was at all times a victory,” he notes.
